Società Metalmeccanica Friulana S.r.l. was founded in 1984 in Fagagna, in the province of Udine, and its core business activities included custom machine building, the machining of mechanical parts and repair of existing devices.

Over the years, the company has expanded its business considerably. In addition to newly built machines, designed according to customer needs, we added new services, such as revamping for refurbishment, restoration and modernization of existing machinery and plants, as well as on-site assembly. So far, we have designed, built, installed and certified around 225 plants.

The company has more than 70 employees and three distinct sites – all located in the same district – for a total of 20,500sqm, including:

SMF3: Metalworking – SMF1: Mechanical processing and painting – SMF2: Assembly, testing and shipping

The experience acquired in a number of sectors, our knowledge and the technologies we use allow us to provide our customers with with turnkey steel (steel supply and finishing of both flat and long products),aluminium (casting and extrusion) and recycling solutions(metals and inert waste), as well as many other solutions specially designed based on individual requests.

Our company – which was started as, and continues to be a family business – manages the entire process, supporting you at all stages, from the development of your own idea to the implementation and testing of final projects.

Compliance with EN1090 requirements allowed us to get EN ISO 3834 certification.
